El Solà d’Ares produces various fermented products such as wines, garnacha beer, and kombucha (fermented tea), complemented by a technical experience that explores new concepts and the personality that can be conveyed in a product crafted with enthusiasm.
ESTATE
Vines cultivated on steep slopes, on slate and sandstone soils, in the municipality of Torroja del Priorat. The climate is semi-arid Mediterranean continental, where austere conditions drive the plant to express the wine’s characteristics to the extreme.

BESSONS CARINYENA 2021
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and open French oak barrels of 600 liters. Aged for 15 months. Bottled in March 2023.
TASTING NOTES
Intense purple color with a dark rim. Very ripe nose with notes of figs and dried plums over a backdrop of black fruit. Intense, balsamic tannins with spicy notes. Mineral undertones. Shy entry on the palate, broad and intense, with excellent acidity. Long finish with a lingering aftertaste of ripe fruit. The grape’s expression taken to the extreme.
